Tug Of War (P)**

*The Mini-Marathon is about 500 metres long. The Start is on the flat section of Hillfield Park and it is hoped that everyone will take part (!)

The route is:
Junction with St James’s Lane... Down the hill under the bridge... Sharp left past the lockups and up on to the Parkland Walk... Then there is a choice...
  1. Competitors can go on to the tunnel, Rt up the slope, left up Muswell Hill and then left down past the Dragons and the Centre to the Finishing line in Hillfield Park; or
  2. Marathon for softies: if you’ve had enough by the time you reach the Parkland Walk, exit Left past the Health Club and rejoin the course, but be careful not to impede the competitive runners.

** The Tug of War will take place in the closed off section of the road. There will be 3 contests: Oddfellas v EvenStevens, Evenstevens v Flatliners and Flatliners v Oddfellas. Each team can field as many people as they can get on their half of the rope. [The rope is not very long: it was left behind in the Centre by burglars who got in through the roof!]

The programme is subject to changes and amplification which will be published on our website:
